Being completely serious I would like to present my beloved band. So far I attended 2 concerts and I am looking forward for more. Ladies and gentlemen I want you to discover Therion with me.

Therion is a Swedish heavy metal band founded by Christofer Johnsson in 1987. The word "therion" comes from the Greek "therion", meaning "Beast”. They combine orchestral elements with their metal music, employing heavy use of choirs and classical musicians. Therion's music takes its themes from different mythologies and is based on concepts ranging from occultism, magic and ancient traditions and writings.

I would like you to listen one of the most beautiful tunes of this band "O Fortuna”. It makes me shiver.

I would like to draw your attention to a very unusual fact about music business. I could never understand why such girls like Britney Spears and Paris Hilton survive in this world. Basicly they are blond, not so pretty bur have a lot of self-confidence and aparently a great talent. Luckily one day I discovered the mistery. I think that their music is so easy and cheerful that you simply can't resist, can you? I have to admit to one very shameful fact that despite the fact that I know their music doesn't convey any important message or isn't sophisticated at all, I always look for more. Maybe to laugh at or believe that there is a chance for every of us...What you have to do is dye your hair and work on your choreography :) Talking of Britney I encourage you to check this song. I bet you will be surprised.

As some of you are interested in Esterka's House history I want to devote my time to share this secret. Remember this is a story full of sex and violence so don't read it if you are too sensitive.

Long time ago, Kazimierz Wielki went hunting in the forest near Radom. He was having a good time there when he noticed that a wild boar is heading in the direction of a young woman. He saved her life by killing the animal and that's how it all started. Well, the legend says that he was smitten with Estera and ordered to build a house for her. As you can guess they spent there a lovely time together. The house was connected with the castle by underground tunnel which Esterka and the king used in order to meet for a cup of tea. Unfortunately, some were indignant with Estera's behavior and decided to stone her. She managed to escape and lived happily after.

In XVII century the Gąska’s House was added where in 1656 Karol Gustaw lived. Nowadays, there is the Museum of Modern art in both buildings.

Radom with a pinch of irony :)

If one day you find yourself in a place with many supermarkets, churches and solariums it must me my hometown Radom!

Once it was really industrial city with its furniture, weapon, shoes, cigarettes and Łucznik's sewing machines factory. Now it is not any more and many people have problems with employment and development. That was the reason why I left my hometown. Lack of perspectives is really depressing.

To tell you about positive sites of my hometown I would like to mention the beautiful Cathedral of Virgin Mary, Gąska’s and Esterka's Houses or Radom Countryside Museum. It is also home to the great Radom Air Show the largest and best-attended in Poland, held during the last weekend of August.

There are more attractions of the town, however I usually meet with my friends there and discuss what happened in our lives. We are usually surprised by the changes that occurred in the city. Finally someone is investing in our city so I hope the best is still to come.
