Shake shake senora

This is the part at the end of the film, when Lydia comes home from school and she starts dancing. In my opinion one of the best songs int he movie.

Check this out.

This is the amazing scene in Tim Burton's "Beetlejuice" movie with Delia (Catherine O'Hara) forced by ghosts to sing the "Banana Boat Song" while everyone dances around the table.

Tim Burton my hero.

Timothy William "Tim" Burton (born August 25, 1958) is a Golden Globe Award-winning American film director, producer, and writer. He is most famous for his dark and often quirky themes, as seen in cult classics such as "Edward Scissorhands" and "The Nightmare Before Christmas", as well as successful blockbusters including "Batman" and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". My favourite films of his are:
CORPSE BRIDE (2005)
SLEEPY HOLLOW (1999)
THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS (1993)
EDWARD SCISSORHANDS (1990)
BEETLEJUICE (1988)

His directing style emphasizes the dark side of human nature and a dark humor pervades his work. It is impossible to see a Tim Burton film without realizing one has stepped into a bizarre world of Burton's own creation.

Five years from now.

First of all I do not make such long plans. I usually plan the next day and meals I am going to prepare. I somehow believe that everything happens for a reason and as my plans usually do not fullfil I let it be as it is. I hope to find a satisfying and well-paid job, travel a bit and learn something new. I would like to brush up my Spanish, attend Latino dance classes, swim with dolphins, shower in the waterfall, see a professional pole dance, get dolled up by Gok Wan, try scuba diving and watching a coral reef, visit Hawaii and learn their national dance... These are just a few ideas I came up with after watching a film "My life without me". It is about a woman who finds out she is going to die in a couple of months and decides to make a list of things she would like to do before death. So, what would be on your list?

The new president...

I knew that they will not choose McCain...It took so long but finally Mr. Obama will move into the White House and rule. Hopefully he will not commit so many stupid gaffes as Bush did and let us Polish citizens travel to the USA without visa. Basically, I care more about our president or to say more about new accelerated elections.

My teaching practice was really exciting. I put a lot of effort in preparing, coping, cutting and sticking. Some of the lessons were more satisfying than others. I really enjoyed pupils’ positive attitude during lessons in a primary school. However, when I watched the video from one lesson I noticed quite unusual behavior of my pupils. As you can guess they were showing faces and waving to the camera. In gymnasium I was told to contact their agents after filming (what I did of course :)) In High School students made a joke and wrote nicknames instead of their names. I didn't realize it and ended in laughing after reading words like "Gacuƛ","Satan" or "Leniu. Everything is recorded so I hope my guiding teacher will have some fun while watching it. Oh, and if we are talking about salary, check the image enclosed.

This photo is showing the innocent, plumy child, still believing in Santa. I really enjoyed that magic time when I didn't have to go shopping, clean, wash, bake and fry to prepare Christmas. Honestly, I am like a Grinch now... I would rather skip Christmas on Bali, Haiti or other tropical island. Anybody interested? Drinks are on me:)

This is my picture from primary school. It was taken during one of our family walks. The photographer captured last autumn lives and nice sweater made by my mum.
